The Jewish General Hospital’s Obstetrics team is ready to accompany you during this special moment in your family’s life.
At the JGH, Obstetricians and Family Medicine doctors who focus on obstetrical care, collaborate closely with fellows, residents, and nurses to follow all types of pregnant patients – from low-risk pregnancies to high-risk obstetrical cases. Our devoted and compassionate team focuses on providing high-quality and equitable care, with an emphasis on clear communication and informed consent.
The Family Birthing Center is closely associated with a tertiary care neonatal unit and has 24hours a day anesthesia availability. The ultimate goal is for you to feel safe and well-supported throughout your pregnancy, labour & delivery, and postpartum period. By practicing patient-centred care and shared-decision making, our hope is that your experience at the JGH will be exceptional.
